SHOUT OUT TO JAKE

Jake has been training at CrossFit 3018 twice a week since February.

In the beginning, starting CrossFit can be very challenging, Jake and the team worked closely together as we do with all athletes to make sure he understood the varying workouts each day and to ensure he was moving efficiently.

The two sessions a week of training complemented with Basketball and Footy umpiring meant that Jake was exercising for many hours a week and CrossFit has given Jake the strength and and mobility benefits he was missing from the other activities.

Jake is now 6 kilograms lighter going into his summer holiday and has gone from doing pull ups in two thick assisting bands to none. He got 8 pull ups in a row mid workout and his goal for the year is 10. You got a couple days left to get it mate, get down to the local playground and get that goal.

We are very proud of you mate, keep stretching, keep working that over head mobility over the break and we will see you in January for more fun and fitness
